What was the original photo? Place? Did you take it? Where did it come from?
As you can see the original photo is a beautiful landscape of some mountains and a body of water, captured by Steven Douglas. And I got it from unsplash.com 

What hue did you choose and why?
I went for a cyan-ish theme.

How did you make this piece?
I used a website called Brusheezy where you can download and use new brushes, I used a brush from that website to make the mountains, and then I used a brush from Photoshop itself to pretty much do everything else

What did you learn?
I learned how to download and upload brushes in Photoshop
